Safety glass

Safety glass is an essential part of modern buildings and interiors, where not only aesthetics but also the protection of people and property is important.
These are specially treated glasses that can provide a high level of protection in the event of impacts, penetration attempts, as well as in the event of unexpected breakage.
These glasses protect people from serious injury and at the same time contribute to increased security of property.
Different types of safety glass offer varying degrees of protection – from mechanical strength to special coatings that prevent splinters from scattering.
Today, safety glass is an important feature in homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.

Glass provides both active and passive safety.
Passive safety is the protection of a person from serious injury caused by the glass itself.
Active safety refers to the protection of a person and their property.

How do safety glasses work?

CONNEX, VSG – in the case of bonded safety glass, two or more glass panes are joined together with foils, so that the glass sticks in the frame even after breaking.

CONNEX LOW-E – is laminated safety glass with a plated layer.

WIRE GLASS – provides passive safety thanks to the wire mesh embedded in the glass, which ensures safety even if it is broken.
